The cost per album in the first year will be £1,960.
If TIME Albums produces fifty albums in its second year, the cost per album will be £1,800.
We live in a time when cost-effectiveness is a consideration in any endeavour, even if that endeavour has charitable objectives. Hence, it is important to at least try to weigh the cost of a single album against existing options.
It is understood that people with dementia are often treated with drugs to help calm them when they become confused or disorientated. It has been extremely difficult for TIME Albums to ascertain the cost of such drugs and so no direct comparison can be made at this time.
If however, we consider that the album will be viewed by the client say, ten times in six months, then the cost of each viewing could be said to be approximately £200. Unlike the cost of prescribed medication however, which will rise each time they are used, the cost of the album will remain constant and in fact the cost per viewing will fall each time it is viewed.
